Kings Poker League operates on a point-based system where the top three finishers of each game earn one point. The league features two separate standings boards: an overall standings board that tracks all players across every game, and individual location standings that track performance at specific game locations. Each time a player finishes in the top three, they earn not only a point but also a 1,000-chip bonus toward the Season Championship Tournament. At the end of the regular season, the overall standings leader will receive a 10,000-chip bonus, while the top player at each location will earn a 5,000-chip bonus. These rewards offer both recognition and strategic advantage heading into the final championship event.
Location standings will conclude one week before the final week of the season. The last week will be designated as the tie-break week for players who have the same number of points at a specific location. During this week, only the tied players will compete to determine the final ranking. The player who ranks highest in that week’s competition will win the tie-break and secure the higher position in the standings. For example, if three players are tied with 5 points and a fourth player has 4 points, only the three tied players will be eligible to compete in the tie-break. Since the standings are already finalized before tie-break week, the final game at that location will only serve as a tie-break for the players with equal points.
